Seven Blasts Confirmed At Four Sites
7 blasts at 4 sites: Aldgate/Moorgate/Liverpool St; Russell Square/Kings X; Edgware Road; Tavistock Square - 2 dead, toll expected to rise; 150 seriously injured
Tony Blair confirmed today that London had come under a concerted terrorist attack after seven bomb blasts struck London targeting rush-hour commuters in Tube trains and a double-decker bus.
The Times reports: "Dozens of people were injured and there were credible reports of at least four deaths from the blasts, which brutally shook the city out of its euphoria at winning the right to host the 2012 Olympics yesterday."
