EDITOR'S NOTE: The following is the text of the Urgency Motion moved by Leader of the House Michael Cullen and passed Tuesday 14th June. At present the house is debating the Overseas Investment Bill. The house will continue to sit until all the business in this motion is complete.
"LEADER OF THE HOUSE: I move That urgency be accorded-
the debate on the performance and current operations of Crown entities, public organisations and State enterprises, and
the passing through their remaining stages of-
the Land Transport Amendment Bill,
the Tariff (New Zealand-Thailand Closer Economic Partnership) Bill,
the Taxation (Base Maintenance and Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill,
the Misuse of Drugs Amendment Bill (No 3),
the Overseas Investment Bill,
the Terrorism Suppression Amendment Bill (No 2), and
the Courts and Criminal Matters Bill;
and of any bills into which those bills may be divided."
