LEAD STORY:
High Seas Vandalism Caught On Camera - Greenpeace

[1] Sunday, 12 June 2005: Last week Amaltal director Andrew Talley called Greenpeace assertions "unsubstantiated claptrap". Today, photos and footage taken by the Rainbow Warrior crew prove him and others supporting bottom trawling wrong. Greenpeace crew from the Rainbow Warrior today captured images of endangered black and red corals being hauled aboard a New Zealand bottom trawler in international waters near Norfolk Island. See... - Dr Don Brash - "We're committed to have tax relief for all hard working New Zealanders that’s what I've said that’s the latest statement I've made and that’s what we'll stick with." SCOOP REPORTS:
Scoop Report: Orgasms... Study Shows Genetics Plays A Significant Role [1] - Scientists have found the reason why some women have difficulty reaching an orgasm is due to genetics. That’s the result of a study by the Twin Research Unit of the St. Thomas’ Hospital. Studies of 4000 twins showed that a woman’s ability to reach an orgasm was not necessarily as a consequence of psycho-social circumstances as some might suppose and that critical genes could play an important role for the development of drugs for the stimulation of an orgasm. Solomons Govt. Hocks Off The National Art Gallery
- Last Saturday morning's SIBC Talk Back Show said it all. 9 of 10 callers bitterly disagreed with Government's recent sale of the National Art Gallery to a foreign buyer. Callers gave strong reasons why the Art Gallery should have never been sold--great setting for local artists to show place their talents, convenient entertainment spot, prime land for future local investors to use, historical site, etc.--but their reasons were cast aside. A Kiwi In Bolivia Reports On A Miner's Perspective
- Last night the Congress accepted the resignation of pro-US president Mesa, and also accepted the refusal of both the presidents of the Senate and Congress to take over as president. The result was that the president of the Supreme Court, Rodriquez, took over as president and he has 180 days to call elections. The strikers got some of what they wanted, but not everything. Goff Says Nats Hypocritical Over Anti-Nuke Policy

On Saturday's Agenda programme on TVNZ, he did not deny the accuracy of a senior MP's comments that neither Dr Brash nor most of the National caucus wanted to keep New Zealand nuclear free." See...
