12:15 Deborah Manning
Word’s getting around that the SIS have been interviewing as many as forty people; asking questions about New Zealand’s most famous Algerian Ahmed Zaoui. Several Algerian’s have had agents knock on their doors and one man claims to have been detained for five hours in an Auckland café where he was asked about his religious activities and his knowledge of Zaoui. Zaoui’s lawyer Deborah Manning is on the line at 12:15 to talk about what it means for her case.
12:45 Alistair Kwun
Yes we have bananas. They’re all amongst us and they are even banding together to have a conference. The Crouching Tiger Hidden Banana is the name of a conference in Auckland next week, which is to discuss what means to be a Chinese New Zealander. Bi-culturalism is the key theme but the conference also deals with business and artistic issues. To talk is the convenor Alistair Kwun.
1:00 Thespians Corner.
Ollie is in the studio to talk about Suddenly Last Summer on at the Silo. It’s a Tennessee Williams play. The man probably had the coolest name ever.
1:15 Sarah Hopkinson
The very lovely Sarah Hopkinson, will be in the studio with tales of the latest art in your city.
1:45 Mag Review with Kris Berger.
Kris reviews magazines. I tell you what mate, she can review magazines like the best of them. This week it’s TIME and Newsweek.
Aucklanders can tune in at 95 on the FM dial.
