NEWSFLASH: David Benson-Pope Steps Aside From Portfolio
Minister of Education David Benson-Pope has stepped aside from his portfolio - by his own request - while an investigation is conducted into allegations concerning his use of discipline while serving as a teacher at Bayfield High School.
Campbell Live has just broadcast a statement from the Prime Minister to this effect. The statement came after a 3 News broadcast containuing allegations from 5 students who each claim to have been assaulted by Mr Benson-Pope as students at Bayfield High School.
