Good Coffee, Dodgy Sweatshirts At Blumsky Office Opening
Story And Images By Kevin List
This morning Wellington commuters were treated to free coffee in Manners street brewed by a phalanx of Mark Blumsky
supporters. The reason for this caffeine largesse was the opening of Mr Blumsky's campaign headquarters. Mr Blumsky who
is a former Wellington Mayor has now set his sights on winning Wellington Central for the National Party. Recently Mr
Blumsky's campaign to snaffle Wellington Central has been plagued by the scourge of vandalism. Mr Blumsky's large
billboard featuring a bushy set of eyebrows, has had its tyres slashed, much to the consternation of his campaign
manager, Mr David Farrar.
Mr Farrar, possibly New Zealand's most dedicated blogger was all smiles on a warm Wellington autumn morning as coffee
flowed, like leaves in Vallombrosa of old. Whilst Scoop understands the coffee was top notch, it was noted that the
nortmally sartorially immaculate Mr Blumsky's sweatshirt was a little baggy. It was also observed that Mr Blumsky's
trademark eyebrows were rather less bushy than had been expected.
