Cuban Ambassador Responds To Rodney Hide

I have been asked by some quarters not to reply back to any of the innuendos of Rodney Hide, as they do not deserve my time (they give me much credit or none to him).
But frankly speaking, if I were him I should try to avoid that as many persons as possible could read his weak reply to
your prestigious digital publication, showing such a high degree of political inclination towards Washington, that I
doubt many would like that.
Trying to help him, or more exactly, to help the readers of SCOOP, who deserve better, I should try to reply to what he
did not when SCOOP journalist Kevin List asked him:
Scoop: What particularly did you find upsetting about Mr Robson's comments regarding the United States and Cuba?
Miguel Ramirez: Mr. Hide cannot stand anybody offending headquarters and he has to do anything to defend the White House. Perhaps he
should know that for the past 46 years Cuba had many more victims as a result of US government sponsored terrorism than
those who died on the 11 of September. Perhaps he should know that 5 Cubans are in jail in the United States because
their crime was just trying to stop the terrorist attacks against Cuba carried out from Miami, by terrorist
organizations that usually take part in 5000 dollar dinners to promote the Bush electoral campaign, including Orlando
Bosch, the mastermind of the bombing of a Cuban civilian plane where 73 people died in 1976. But not only in Cuba: is it
not State terrorism bombing civilian population in Iraq, where more than 100 000 civilians have been killed by
“intelligent” US attacks, or is it not terrorism to use chemical weapons in Fallujah? He says equating American War on
Terror to terrorism is offensive, but to whom?, probably only to persons like Mr. Jekyll, sorry, Mr. Hide.
Scoop: Does America spend money on trying to destabilise Cuba?
Miguel Ramirez: Mr. Hide did not reply the question, probably because he did not want to confirm that the American Government publicly
have allotted 57 million dollars through USAID to help a “regime change” in Cuba (does it sound any bell somewhere?),
plus many more millions through covert CIA operations, no wonder the new CIA chief is connected with the Cuban mafia in
Miami.
Scoop: Right, But do you know if they {The United States government] spend money trying to de-stabilise Cuba?
Miguel Ramirez: Again Mr. Hyde did not reply and went by the bushes. Is he sure that the CIA have not blown any buses anywhere? But is
it not worse to bomb hospitals, or hotels where journalists are known to be working? Is it not a little weird that the
new U.S. intelligence boss is John Negroponte, who was in charge of the dirty operations in Central America when
thousands of people were killed by US sponsored death squads or U.S. puppet regimes in Honduras, Guatemala and el
Salvador?
Scoop: Do you think he was meaning the United States was operating economic terrorism?.
Miguel Ramirez: Again he avoids direct reply by saying “That's not what he said” If he would have been explained or allowed to say, he
should have recognized that there is a 46 year-old economic war of aggression against the Cuban people by “these guys
from Washington” already costing the Cuban economy more than 80 billion US dollars, including medicine and food, with
the direct objective to break the will of a people by hunger or disease to serve the Northern neighbour that for the
last 200 years have always dreamed (and during some years did) to have Cuba as part of their backyard as a brothel and
gambling house.
