Shana Tova from Sol Salbe
On behalf of The Middle East News Service and myself I wish all of you Shana Tova U'metuka. May you all have a happy and
sweet New Year. May the year 5765 distinguish itself by news dominated by news of peace and not of war. May the biggest
disaster to report would be in the kitchen and not the deaths of the innocents.
May the people of Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, North Ossetia and Palestine not have to go through the kind of events that
they have gone through recently and may the elections in Australia and the United States see the those who took us to
war turfed out of office.
For those of you who are not Jewish, the year 5765 is starting at sunset tonight. It's traditional to start the year
with a honey cake to ensure a sweet news year hence the delay in this message while I baked the cakes.
May we able to have those kinds of priorities for the whole of the year. And may be the biggest complaint be the cross
posting which this message is definitely guilty off.
