12.50 - Dr. Zakir Naik, an Indian Muslim academic in town to give two lectures: "Terrorism and Jihad - An Islamic Perspective" and "Women in Islam - Protected Or Subjugated?" Naik is the subject of some controversy after Lynfield College, the original venue for the lectures, refused to play host, saying the promotional artwork was inflammatory and they did not want to be seen to be supporting terrorism.
