Mr Irving was labelled a racist, anti-Semite and falsifier of history by a British judge in a libel case two years ago. Irving has hit the headlines by promising to fight any moves to keep him out of the country and by posting a US$1000 reward for information leading to the capture of those responsible for the desecration of two Jewish cemeteries in Wellington.
12 45 Christine Fletcher - Former Mayor of Auckland and contender in this years Mayoral race. A poll released yesterday revealed that between Fletcher and fellow candidate Bruce Hucker there are enough votes to unseat incumbent John Banks. Fletcher has asked Hucker to stand aside to allow her a clear run.
