12.15 Dr. Jenny Neale. From Kylie and Dannii to the Brontes-Sister Saviour ?" Dr. Neale is the Deputy Dean in the
faculty of Humanities at Victoria University. She's on the Wire to discuss sister stereotypes in her latest book "No
Friend Like A Sister."
12.45 Hon. Paul Swain. Between now and 2010, prison populations will increase by 1300 inmates. Voters have made it clear
that they want tougher sentences, but convicted criminals have to go somewhere. Four new prisons, or correctional
facilities are planned between 2005 and 2007. Paul Swain will be on the show to talk about the cost of getting tough on
crime.

1.15 Ross Wilson. The head of the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions talks about the implications of the recent
Employment Court ruling allowing Air New Zealand to carry out random drug tests on employees in safety sensitive areas.
Mr Wilson made court submissions on behalf of the labour unions who opposed the measure.
