OWW;The Musical opened in Auckland this weekend and Baji Brown and Maria Rose Mc Donald will be in studio. The musical has been a socially conscious production and Jim Moriarty has made the story more hopeful, showing a way out from the cycle of violence for the Heke family.

Despite the continued kidnappings and killing of foreigners in Iraqi it seems Kiwis are signing up for service. No Helen hasn't changed her mind; the military is not pushing in. A Hamiltonian contractor, Terry Phelan, is filling jobs for security personnel in Iraq and is getting a huge response. What's motivating people to travel to a place that the government is increasingly warning us is a place to stay away from? Terry Phelan, of Red Key Security is on the Wire today.
