Palestine's Dance of Life
Defeats Israel's Dance of Death
By Genevieve Cora Fraser
As Israeli soldiers beat
The drums of death
Palestine's women dance
A Dabkeh to life
In the strong, brave face
Of a suffering people
Palestinian woman stand
On the land of their birth
Between the devil
Whose feats are mighty
And the Lord of Justice
Who sees the Truth
Tread wheels spike
The tread mills of agony
As Palestine's woman stand
In resistance to IDF bullies
Razing Palestinian property
But not their Rights
The Wall of Ignorance
Built higher than Truth
Stands as a Memorial
To Israeli Injustice
A bloodthirsty desire
To steal and ravage
But the community of saints
The martyrs and the massacred
Hover over the madness
The Zionist legacy has wrought
A desecration to the Terra Sancta
Transposed and restored
By Palestine's Dance of Life
