Bail Caesar Bush!
A year from now, on November 4, 2004, the world will hold its first global election. The problem is, only citizens of the United States will get to vote in it.
The vote by less than half of just 5% of the world's population will determine whether George Bush will serve a second term as President of the World. Of course, he was not even elected in the United States the first time. But let's not get caught up in a discussion of how the 2000 election was rigged through electoral, judicial, and metaphysical processes.
The issue before us, as citizens of the world, is how to get rid of not only Caesar Bush, but also Pax Americana, and what to replace him and it with. Now I realize that many Americans will call me a traitor for suggesting a campaign to dethrone Bush should also be conducted from outside the United States. However the political climate in the US of A has made this election already a foregone conclusionŠif we keep thinking within the box of the nation-state system.
Besides, nationalism is the fuel keeping these bullies in power. The terrorists have given Bush & Co. (Blair and Howard are part of the cabal, Clark is a question mark) a club with which to beat peoples and nations into conformity with their global program.
A world government is being surreptitiously installed, with this small man, who, as Nelson Mandela said, "doesn't know how to think properly," effectively ordaining himself as President of the World. So there is no choice but to treat the next US election as a referendum on Pax Americana, and end its scourge.
The issues go far beyond the tragic war against Iraq, or GE foods being crammed down people's throats outside the US (most Americans don't know or want to know how their food has been degraded). Indeed, we must look beyond the American government, since the growing tentacles of global control centered in Washington reach into in nearly every capital.
American power is the center that holds together the crumbling world order. And the more the old order crumbles, the more authoritarian this secretive global network of national governments and their corporate sponsors become.
Iraq is both a test case and a diversion, a focal point and beside the point. "The sole remaining superpower" decided it had the right to preemptively attack another country that was not an imminent threat to it, or anyone. That illegal and immoral invasion was proposed and planned long before 9/11 gave the Bush Administration the excuse to carry it out. Its aftermath has created a vortex of darkness and power that virtually no politician can resist. That was the plan all along.
Thus, stealth authoritarianism grows in the absence of an alternative. So what is the alternative?
The UN is necessary for global governance, but not sufficient. Porto Alegre is a fine movement, but it does not provide a tangible alternative. It's clear that this is the time to build a non-power-holding body of world citizens that transcends all identifications, a body that holds humanity as a whole to be its founding and enduring premise.
The international system is going to collapse, and if there is not a small-scale alternative in place, there will be much more chaos, with far greater authoritarianism. Defeating George Bush next November, and driving the forces of darkness (physical and metaphysical) that are behind him into retreat, depend on a psychological revolution igniting and manifesting as a Global Polity in Africa, the birthplace of humankind.
Bail Caesar Bush! Pax Americana is sinking the world.
