RETURN OF THE RINGERS REVIVED!
Bigger and Better than Before.

Haven't been invited to the world premiere of The Return of the King on December 1st? Never fear, neither have a thousand other Lord of the Rings fans who'll be descending on Wellington for the Premiere Weekend. WE PLAN TO PARTY regardless of that.
Scoop content partner and world-leading Tolkien website TheOneRing.net, and Rings Locations Tour company Red Carpet, recognised the need for a special event for the fans, so last month we announced our 'Return of the Ringers' party, to be held at the Skyline Restaurant on November 30th. It sold out in under 48 hours!
Clearly we needed to do more!
We wanted to fit more people in without losing our fantastic hilltop vantagepoint. After frantic phonecalls and some mighty wrestling with budgets, we prevailed. Our gracious hosts at The Skyline organised a superb summer pavilion which will be set up to accommodate more guests.
Last week we threw open the Return of the Ringers for additional bookings, and now we're almost sold out again for a night that should see close to 800 fans from 16 different countries gathering to celebrate.
The ticket price includes substantial cocktail food fit for a hobbit's appetite and an Elf's palate - and with so many overseas visitors we plan to showcase the best of Kiwi cuisine. There'll be live music from the ethereal Lothlorien, then later wild reels from Ballyscully. It will be a joyful celebration of the end of a very long wait for The Lord of the Rings to be completed. All for $75!
Check out TheOneRing.net's Return of the Ringers page if you need remind yourself why you¹re coming to this party!
Both events are raising money for a charity selected by Peter Jackson: The Organ Donor Awareness Campaign - so we¹ll have a few little autographed goodies to raffle off for that cause.
You can book here through Ticketek, which has the party listed under "Return of the Ringers"
