A Couple Of Winter Photos From Lake Ohau Area

Norm Mackay of Ohau writes, " I thought I was long overdue to send you some half decent photos from Lake Ohau. We have had a huge amount of late snow dumped at higher levels. Its been great for our local Ohau ski field."

"The photo of the mountains has Mt Ward as the centre piece, and looks very impressive from a distance. It's located at the extreme end of the Hopkins valley."

"The other photo is of our local Ohau ski field, and it shows the vast amount of fresh snow that has fallen in the past week. You can see the access road as it zig zags its way up the mountain for some 10 km's. Regards, Norm Mackay"
