Last week UNICEF revealed New Zealand is one of the worst places in the world to be a child. We have the third hightest rate of child mortality in the OECD world. Since the report was released, there have been renewed calls from Child Youth and Family, and from MP's to ban the law that allows parents to smack their children. There has also been suggestions of a Minister for Children, and a greater focus placed on the care of our future. Today we talk to Sharon Cole, from Parents Centre New Zealand.
Keith Hill creator of "This is Not a Love Story", a story about a love triangle premiers at the Auckland Festival of Arts on October 3rd at Sky City Theatre. Keith joins us today.
