Well Done Nats Re: Murtle The Tractor Prank
Good on National MP Shane Ardern for driving a tractor up the steps of Parliament.
Labour MP Jonathan Hunt's comment that this was "Morally Reprehensible" is ridiculous. How can a member of a government that legalised prostitution, lied about corngate and paintergate and lied about the seabed legislation possibly make moral judgements?
How, indeed, can he even call the stunt "Very Silly" when his own government is introducing a tax on animal farts?
Shane Ardern's escapade was a harmless bit of fun that appeals to the New Zealand psyche with its healthy taste for irreverence.
As a publicity stunt it was faultless, making the TV News and the front page of major newspapers.
I think Shane should park Murtle the Tractor in the foyer of Te Papa as a permanent tribute to Kiwi culture.

I'm new to this site. Did you post pics of the Kurds Saddam gassed? Did you post pics of the strewn body parts of AMERICANS on Sept. 11th? Did you post any pics of the numerous burial pits found throughout Iraq of people (including children) Saddam murdered because they didn't agree with him? Just curious,
