9/11 CitizensWatch: Preparing Analysis of 9/11 Joint Inquiry Report
INTRODUCTION
9/11 CitizensWatch is in the midst of a review of the nearly 900pp. Joint Inquiry Report on 9/11. We will be releasing
this report some time in the coming weeks well in advance of 9/11/03.
In the meantime, with the assistance of avid 9/11 researchers, we have compiled a list of links that may prove useful
for others interested in following some of the same leads CitizensWatch is following in an effort to understand what was
declassifed and released in the report and what was left out and what may be hidden in the 28 pages of classified
material.
Please feel free to offer you own comments or suggestions of trails to follow as we assemble our own analysis of the
9/11 Joint Inquiry Report.

1) FBI's diversion?- 9/11 Funds Traced to Pakistan Accounts
- The FBI conducted a detailed financial investigation/analysis of the19 hijackers and their support network, following
the September 11th attacks. This investigation initially identified the Al Qa'ida funding sources of the 19 hijackers in
the UAE and Germany. The financial investigation also provided the first links between Ramzi Binalshibh and the 9/11
operation. A continuing investigation, in coordination with the PENTTBOMB Team, has traced the origin of the funding of
9/11 back to financial accounts in Pakistan, where high-ranking and well-known Al Qa'ida operatives played a major role
in moving the money forward, eventually into the hands of the hijackers located in the U.S [emphasis mine].

2) 9/11 Suspect met Saudi Friends of Bush
Note paragraphs at the conclusion of article excerpted below:
9/11 Report Suggests Saudi Links
Photo: George Bush, here with Crown Prince Abdullah
"...FBI officials obtained information about (Osama) Basnan, who was charged with visa violations after Sept. 11 and
eventually sent back to Saudi Arabia, "clearly indicating that Basnan is an extremist and bin Laden supporter," the
congressional report concludes.
In a classified section of the report, congressional investigators also trace his movements after Sept. 11, raising the
possibility he went to Houston to meet with a Saudi figure with intelligence ties who had come with royal family members when they
met with President Bush in Texas..."

3) Grossly underreported (and seemingly ignored by 9/11 Report) Link between Pakistani ISI and lead hijacker Mahmud
Atta:
Times of India has recently revisited it story on links between the Pakistani Intelligence service (ISI) and the
hijacker Atta:
"...The Times of India first reported on October 10, 2001 that India told the US that some $100,000 had been wired to
the leader of the hijackers, Mahmud Atta, by British-born terrorist Ahmad Saeed Umar Sheikh.
Indian authorities also told the US that the trail led back from Sheikh to the then chief of ISI, Lt Gen Mahmud Ahmad
who was subsequently forced to retire by Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf...."

4) 9/11 Report - The real Saudi Ties are U.S. Ties
The Real Saudi Ties are U.S. Ties
By Ewing 2001 - globalfreepress.com
On Monday, President Bush acted against the wishes of Saudi Arabia and a number of U.S. lawmakers, deciding not to
declassify the now notorious missing 28 pages in the 9/11 Report.
"It would reveal sources and methods" (President Bush)
It is believed these pages might point to specific foreign sponsorship of the September 11th, 2001 attacks.
Bush seems to be less concerned with national security--the only legitimate reason for censorship--and more concerned
with not providing lawmakers and journalists information that might lead them to a sobering question: What if the "Saudi
ties" are in reality homegrown?
If Saudi ties find their knot in the U.S. then all current questions must be changed. No longer do we ask why the Saudi
information is still classified, but which Saudi ties can be traced back to the United States? And who forced the
classification? Who are these suspects President Bush is so scared to have mentioned?
Maybe they haven't been blacked out in the 9/11 Report, but "somewhere" else?
Here are some suggestions of which "Saudi" suspects should be asked first....
