Walking In A Hawke’s Bay Winter Wonderland

This weekend’s snow-storm isolated the Central Hawke’s Bay after record snowfalls closed all roads and highways to Napier, Hastings and surrounding districts. Avid Sunday newspaper readers had to resort to internet news after discovering their Sunday newspapers were not able to get through.
By midday highways re-opened to traffic and fun.
