U.S. President George Bush will tonight mark what is being billed as the end of the War in Iraq with a speech delivered aboard an aircraft carrier.
Given Our Commander in Theif's own illustrious history as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces – namely a year AWOL from the National Guard ( http://www.awolbush.com) which has never been explained – this photo op. seems like an ideal occasion for another Scoop Caption Competition (Click Here To See The Face Of The Union Caption Competition).
We have added a couple of our own captions to these two White House publicity pictures to serve as inspiration for readers. Entries to the competition should be sent to editor@scoop.co.nz
"Sure, I was a pilot too. But then I shot through to Alabama for 12 months on the lam, it was a cinch. You should try it sometime. Sure beats landing on one of these day-in day-out."
"Please Lord, forgive me for deserting my country."
