An panoramic image of the central North Island volcanoes, from left Mt. Tongariro, Mt. Ngauruhoe and Mt. Ruapehu. The mountains were a feature location for Lord of the Rings Trilogy filming, primarily for the final film “Return of The King”, due to be released in December this year.
