Police Go Stomping At Sydney WTO Protest

Initial reports from the streets in Sydney indicate violent overreaction from the police force. The The Australian reports that a female reporter was also injured, suffering gashes and an abdominal injury.
Protestors have been on the streets rallying against the WTO's pre ministerial meeting at Homebush where they will be discussing trade liberalisation in anticipation of next year's WTO meeting.
