Catalina Arce, of Cochabamba Bolivia (pictured above) - also known as Katya Rivas - is a visionary, stigmatist and author of several books of private revelations. While Catalina is relatively unknown in New Zealand, many people may have heard part of her story on a Fox News documentary broadcast on TV2 in 1999 entitled “Signs Of God - Science Tests Faith”. (For a review of the documentary see... Jesus Christ Tells FOXNews He Wants To Hug World)
Scoop readers will also be familiar with Rivas via her writings which have been serialised on Scoop since Lent 2001.
Catalina’s visit to Wellington - at the end of a brief speaking tour to Australasia - offers a unique opportunity to meet and hear her extraordinary testimony concerning the experience of stigmata and her encounters with Jesus Christ, Mary and the Archangels Michael, Raphael and Gabriel.
Catalina’s meetings will also include presentations from Dr Ricardo Castanon, a neuropsychologist who has studied the stigmata, and Father Renzo Sessolo the International Director of Apostolate of the New Evangelisation.
Catalina’s visit has been organised with the consent of the Archbishop of Wellington.
