IS SUMMER HERE AT LAST?
After what seemed like a desperate last ditch crank on a flat battery, summer has kicked into life in Auckland (for the moment at least).
Taking the camera for a stroll in Mission Bay the other day, the ground was dotted with bodies of exhausted breakdancers….
while Johann Louw (guitar) and Kennedi Nulusi, both originally from South Africa, now living here, enjoyed a beer nearby.
Twins Ida and Casper are visiting from Denmark.
Bob The Builder is visiting from Mt Roskill.
Hussein Essu and Desta Worku moved here 5 years ago from Kenya and, says Hussein, the best thing about N'zild is the peace and the welcoming people. And its not quite so hot here as Mombassa. Even in summer.
