Sludge Report #119
Why Does It Always Rain On George?
As this item is published US President George W. Bush and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin are headed south to “The Ranch” for a superpower summit. And as has been oft reported before by this column. Where goes Dubya, there often follows a rain cloud.
Why? God only knows. But it is nevertheless a fact that on many of the significant occasions in Dubya’s career as leader of the free world, he has had a dark cloud hovering on high.
The maps below, produced by the NOAA supercomputer, in fact show a remarkably persistent cloudburst over the State of Texas that this amateur weather forecaster predicts will almost certainly cause some flooding.
