Who Was The Target, Bush Or America?
In the USA it will probably be considered extremely unpatriotic to discuss the subjects Sludge intends to discuss in
this report today. Especially on an official day of mourning for the victims of Tuesday’s apocalypse in New York City.
However, when even an alleged “man of God” - Franklin Graham the son of Billy Graham - is calling on CNN for weapons of
mass destruction to be unleashed, Sludge considers the responsible have no choice but to speak up, and to do so swiftly.
Yesterday Scoop published a report that sheds startling new light on a vital aspect of this week’s events.
This report does not claim to contain any new revelations. Rather it contains references to information that has been in
the public domain about George Bush and his father for some time, albeit facts that we possibly do not want to know.
The GW Bush - Osama Bin Laden Connection
This story - submitted to Scoop by a reader - cites as sources New York Times and Washington Post writers, congressional
records and a remarkable index of publicly released papers relating to the BCCI Bank (the CIA’s covert operations
funding vehicle) scandal.
It concludes that there is a historic, but close, business relationship between the current President of the United
States George Walker Bush Junior, and the father of the world’s most wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden.
That there is a connection between the Bush and Bin Laden families is not altogether remarkable.
After all George’s father was the boss of the CIA during the period that Osama Bin Laden was working for the US
Government fighting against the Russian’s in Afghanistan.
However what is remarkable about the report, is firstly the apparent closeness of the relationship, and secondly the
extent of the involvement of the Commander and Chief George Bush Junior in the affair. George Junior emerges from the
tale as the clear beneficiary of Bin Laden’s father’s generosity.
It is important to remember at this point that Bin Laden is financed in his war against the USA with his inheritance
from his father, and that the events described here took place well before George had his eyes on the oval office.
However the issue that Sludge wishes to draw to readers’ attention, is not the mere existence of this relationship, but
its implications for what is happening now.
As everyone in the world ought to know by now, Osama Bin Laden is not simply a radical Islamic terrorist, he is a former
employee of the CIA turned bad.
That is, he is a person who was once inside the US imperial tent, but who is now trying to burn it down. And this means
he is a person who feels betrayed.
According to some reports of Tuesday’s events, the fourth hijacked plane, the one that crashed in Pennsylvania (and
possibly also the Pentagon plane too), were in fact intended to crash into the White House and possibly to Air Force One
on the tarmac.
Why is this important?
Because on its face Bin Laden’s second target, after the World Trade Center and the banks it contained, was George Bush
Junior himself.
And this begs an important question. Was there a personal element involved in the motivation of Bin Laden to attack both
the USA in general and George Bush Junior in particular?
Or expressed another way. Has the USA been attacked this week, and have around 5000 people died, in part because of the
past personal conduct (or misconduct) of George Bush and his father?
In the circumstances one might imagine that Bin Laden, former employee of the CIA turned public enemy number one, may
see all the justification he needs for his terror campaign against the USA in the fact that the USA is now headed by a
man who was once the beneficiary of bribes paid by his father.
And it would then seem grossly wrong for a war between millions of people to be started partly as a consequence of the
personal enmity and bad blood that exists between two severely corrupt families. Is this the justice that George Bush
and others say America's people are entitled to?
At the very least, before any military strike is commenced, full disclosure is needed from the current President of the
nature of his, and his father’s, relationship with the Bin Laden family.
