Scoop Update #4

Scoop’s Great Big Thankyou Page Launched – THANKYOU!
Dear My Scoop Subscribers,
Since the last Scoop Update we are delighted to report that Scoop has received a few cheques in the mail from our debut
sustaining subscribers.
So far Scoop has two secret admirers - one maniacal and one angelic - and the hugely munificent John Williams from
Christchurch.
And as promised in the last Scoop Update we have now launched our Great Big Page Of Thankyou’s as a mark of appreciation
to our sustaining subscribers.
This can be viewed at.
Our debut subscriptions have – as you no doubt have noticed - helped keep the Scoop fires burning over the darkest days
of what has so far been a bitterly cold winter.
But, that said, the online advertising market appears to have taken something of a turn for the worse, and more
sustaining subscribers are still needed.
Are you feeling angelic today. If you are then you too can have your name, logo or link on our Great Big Page Of
Thankyous!

Nominate Scoop (Or Your Favourite Columnist) For The NZ Internet Awards
New Zealand’s version of the Webby awards are currently seeking nominations in a number of categories seemingly tailor
made for the recognition of Scoop’s demonstrable excellence.
Scoop - as you may have noticed - is not completely averse to blowing its own trumpet, but to do so effectively we need
your support.
To nominate Scoop for the NZ Internet awards all you need to is click here:
…tick a few boxes, and write a few words on why you believe Scoop deserves recognition. You have till August 27th to
nominate and then voting for the winners will begin.
And in the event that Scoop is selected as a finalist (* fingers crossed*) in any of the categories you can rest assured
that we will be writing back to solicit your votes.
best regards
Alastair Thompson
