Your article "BBC Finds Lost World on West Coast" by John Howard contains an error that I find surprising for a news
publication. Steven Spielberg's film "Jurassic Park" was not an adaptation in a modern setting of Conan-Doyles classic,
"The Lost World", as your Mr Howard would have us believe. It was in fact, rather loosely, based on Michael Crichton's
excellent novel "The Lost World - Jurassic Park". Despite the similarities in the title, the plot lines and themes of
these two literary masterpieces are not even remotely connected. Let's hope the BBC do a better job on Conan-Doyle's
work than Spielberg did on Crichton's, and when the time comes please don't let Mr Howard review it!
