A Morning Star Flag raising ceremony was held this morning outside the Indonesian Embassy in Kelburn by Green Party
activists and including Green Party MP Keith Locke. The action was held in solidarity with West Papuan independence
activists who are facing a crackdown in West Papua. The raising of the Morning Star Flag has become a focal point for
the independence movement.
