Stephen Upton intently chisels away at the "ye old gothic plaster look"
A few hardy souls attacked ye old “gothic plaster look” which marked the entrance of the old Indigo Bar in Wellington last night.
Passersby were bemused by the sounds of destruction coming from the venue, where Indigo owner Adrian MacKenzie and new partner in crime Stephen Upton enlisted the help of bar staff and friends to help transorm the old venue.
Mr Upton said “ we worked well in to the night and are just cleaning up this morning.” He said everything was running to schedule and the bar will reopen at the end of the week as planned.
