Published: Mon 7 Aug 2000 04:06 PM
“The agenda and pace of the reinstatement of the Fijian Government – unlike in 1987 – should not be dictated by the regime in Fiji, but by the international community led by Australia and New Zealand.” – Deposed Fijian Prime Minister Mahendra Chaudhry at a press conference in Parliament this afternoon with New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark.
Scoop's Mathew Loh was at the press conference and will file a report shortly.
