Speight's Amnesty Off?
- The amnesty for George Speight's rebels does not apply because not all arms have been handed over, says Fijian military spokesman Colonel Tarakinikini. The comments follow the acquittal of a man on weapons and attempted murder charges by a Fijian chief magistrate. Colonel Tarakinikini was reported as saying that the magistrate may have been hasty in assuming the amnesty applied to the case.
