SCP HOUSE: Jim Anderton To Lead Off

Published: Mon 15 May 2000 12:03 AM
When Parliament resumes tomorrow it will be time for Jim Anderton to step up to the podium and launch the detail of his Regional Development programme.
Legislation establishing his Economic Development Ministry is the first item on the government's agenda for the week, a spokeswoman for the Leader of the House said.
Following that debate the Zero Tariffs Repeal Bill will come back to be passed before the house moves to the first reading of a Social Welfare bill.
After that the Committee stages of the Bail Bill are expected to be considered.
As always the agenda of the house is subject to change.
