GreenPeace protestors dressed as Polar Bears attending yesterdays BP Amoco AGM in London. The protestors won a victory
when 13.5% of BP shareholders voted in favour of a resolution calling on the company to abandon its Northstar
exploration and exploitation programme.
Meanwhile back in Alaska Kiwi activist Tanya Popp has been released on bail of $7,500.00 USD.
She is permitted to travel to UK and New Zealand, but must not return to the North Slope before her hearing in mid July
2000.
