The millennial time is an opportunity for archetypal experiences and dreams, says Walter Logeman.
Psybernet, a Christchurch company which specialises in psychological work online, is offering "Dreamevent 1999 ~ 2000" to reveal the millennial unconscious. The group starts on 10 December 1999 and continues for approximately 3 months.
"Since we began in 1993, we have conducted several intensive psychological groups online. I am impressed how the Net made it possible for us to work collaboratively with our dreams and reveal personal depths in a new way."
"Dreamevent 1999 ~ 2000" will use eGroup software freely available on the Net. In addition to using text participants will describe their dreams using all forms of multimedia. Walter Logeman, a Christchurch psychotherapist and founder of Psybernet will facilitate the group. He will use his experience from traditional therapy groups and combine it with methods which are particularly suited to the net.
"As the Dreamevent unfolds the interconnections will be brought into focus using the HipBone Game designed by Charles Cameron. The process is called a 'game' as it is inspired by the profound Glass Bead Game, from the novel with that title by Hermann Hesse."
This group is free of charge, and is part of Psybernet's broader plan to continue to develop it's global presence as a quality website for depth psychology. More groups and training for facilitators is planned for 2000.
