VSA NURSING SPECIALIST REQUIRED
Volunteer Service Abroad is looking for a nursery specialist for a project in Vietnam and three primary school teachers for assignments in the Solomon Islands.
The nursery specialist will implement an orchard development programme in the coastal city of Qui Nhon in Vietnam's Binh Dinh province.
Two of the primary school teachers will be required to work with untrained teachers in remote schools in the Solomon Islands and the third teacher will carry out pre-service teacher education in Honiara.
All four assignments will commence in May of next year.
VSA is a non-religious, non-government, not-for-profit international development agency that has been placing New Zealand volunteers in developing countries since 1962. At present there are more than 80 volunteers working in the South Pacific, Asia and Africa.
All assignments are for two years. VSA volunteers receive a living allowance, plus free accommodation, airfares, and utilities.
