WHO/WHAT: World Alzheimer Congress 2000: "With Change in Mind"
The Alzheimer's Association (U.S.A.), Alzheimer's Disease International and the Alzheimer Society of Canada will host
World Alzheimer Congress 2000 (Alzheimer 2000).
Over a 10-day span, 5,000 attendees from around the globe will participate in Alzheimer 2000 to share information on
pivotal research and creative care. This event will mark the first time that researchers, physicians, and other
Alzheimer specialists from around the world will unite to improve the lives of people affected by Alzheimer's disease.
WHY: By the year 2025, more than 22 million people worldwide
will develop Alzheimer's disease. It's a growing global crisis,
in need of a global solution.
WHEN: World Alzheimer Congress 2000 is segmented into three
events:
