Specialist From Wellington & Local GP Join Forces to Create a New App That Helps Doctors to Grow Their Practice.
For Immediate Release
As a specialist doctor, you spend 7-9 years in Medical School & then you come out into practice & realise that the one thing that was missing from your education was how to build a medical practice. You’re highly
specialised in your chosen area of medicine & you’d think that patients would be rushing in the door, but the reality is very different. Specialists rely on GPs to
refer patients.. However, just like websites, you can build them, but will they come?
That’s what happened to Dr. Aleksandra Popadich, a Wellington based Breast, Endocrine & General Surgeon, & she wondered if she was the only doctor that this happened to? So, joining up with Dr. Roderick Mulgan, a local GP,
they did some market research to see if this was something that many doctors suffered from.
Turns out their hunch was right.
So, how do you fix this problem? You work out what both specialists & GPs need & you develop some software that meets both of these needs. Specialists need GPs to know how they are & what they can offer. And GPs like to keep up with the latest developments in specialists medicine.
As Doctors they didn’t develop the software themselves, they left that to the experts however they have been integrally
involved in the development of the solution.
Tomorrow night, at 6.30pm at Wakefield Private Hospital, they launch their new product to a range of medical specialists

We’d love you to join us & both Alex & Roderick will be on hand to answer your questions.
