New Herbal Medicine College Opens its Doors!
A new, natural medicine college, has today opened its doors in Christchurch. The Southern Institute of Medical Herbalism (SIMH) is now offering an in-depth, immersive, 3-year Diploma in Medical Herbalism via in-person and online learning.
75% of the world’s population still use herbs as their primary source of medicine. Medical Herbalists utilise medicinal plants, foods and diverse traditional methods of healing within a whole-person philosophy that is ideal to help people who aren’t getting better by themselves and need the sure, safe and strong support of Nature.
SIMH’s course combines modern science with the ancient art of herbal medicine. There is a strong emphasis on practical, clinically relevant material because all kinds of people with all kinds of problems come to see a Medical Herbalist and the only way to survive and thrive in practice is to get excellent results with the great majority of them!
SIMH is owned and operated by highly experienced, practicing herbalists and educators. Officially launching on the 21st September, the International Day of Peace, the intention of the Institute is to help people who have a calling and a passion to become safe, effective and excellent herbalists to bring more peace, love, health and healing into the world.
