Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) or commonly known as the “winter blues” is commonly found in countries where lack of sunlight during day time especially during winter. During this time, people in general are less motivated or inclined to be active.
Professionals recommend the use of a light box to help combating the winter blue. Beside that ensuring stay active can also an added bonus too.
Public Fitness and Wellbeing Trust would like to challenge people who lived in North Shore to come together as a family to experience the “hot” and sometimes “sexy” Latino music fun fitness, “Zumba."
Many researchers in the world have long agreed that physical exercise is one of the best ways to stay healthy.
At the Public Fitness and Wellbeing Trust we encourage mom, dad and their children to come and join the class. Children under 16 and people whom over 65 are free and it is only a $3 donation per person.
We like to make Zumba Fitness as accessible as possible beside that many people who came to our class also formed a lasting friendship, as a result, of the Zumba. If you have been staying at home and feeling a bit of blues why not come and give it a go.
