Atlantis Healthcare’s new NZ Managing Director To Drive Patient-Centred Innovation
Atlantis Healthcare, a leading provider of patient support solutions globally, announced this week that a new Managing Director has been appointed in New Zealand; Kate Reid will take the reins from current Acting Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, Tony Wai early next year.
Kate Reid, the current Managing Director of Atlantis Healthcare in the United Kingdom, accepted this role after electing to leave London after fourteen years to return to her roots in New Zealand.
“Kate has been instrumental in the success of Atlantis Healthcare in Europe; under her leadership the UK business has grown to be a leading provider of patient adherence and behaviour change solutions for Europe’s largest pharmaceutical businesses,” says Atlantis Healthcare’s Chief Executive Officer, Aunia Grogan.
“The New Zealand Atlantis business has recently been through an exciting period of growth, where the focus has been on supporting the industry to improve adherence to treatment and developing patient-centred solutions to achieve this,” explains Tony Wai, the current Acting Managing Director of Atlantis in New Zealand.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to lead such a talented team through this period, and the time is now right for new leadership to continue the momentum going forward,” says Tony.
“I am very excited to be taking up this new and challenging role with Atlantis in New Zealand, where adherence and patient-centred care is a key focus for the healthcare system,” says Kate Reid.
Atlantis Healthcare originally launched in New Zealand in 1993 as an innovative healthcare data and relationship marketing services business. Today the business has a global reach with offices in New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and United States.
With one of the world’s largest Health Psychology clinical teams governed by some of the industry’s leading academics, Atlantis Healthcare has supported well over 750,000 patients, empowering them to take medication as prescribed and better self-manage their chronic conditions throughout and beyond their treatment journey.
