T-shirt design competition promotes breastfeeding
Breastfeeding NZ, 20 December 2010
Parents around the country are encouraged to enter the Breastfeeding T-Off, a design competition to promote breastfeeding in New Zealand.
Designs could be an illustration, an eye-catching logo, or just a great phrase that promotes breastfeeding in New Zealand. Entrants don't need to be talented designers – a quick sketch or a rough drawing is fine!
Winners will receive matching tees for them and their baby, featuring their design. The winning designs will also be on sale in 2011 with a percentage of all sales going to charity.
The competition, which is part of the Ministry of Health’s national initiative to promote and support breastfeeding, closes on 10 January. The top ten designs will be chosen by public vote and celebrity judges and breastfeeding mums Leilani Rorani and Bernice Mene will then choose two overall winners.
For more information about the competition and to enter, go to www.facebook.com/breastfeedingnz.
