CPR on the go!
St John and Marker have released a free iPhone application which could help you save a life. This CPR application is the first developed for the New Zealand environment.
The application reminds users of the steps in CPR. The information can be used at anytime to review CPR or to assist anyone helping a collapsed patient requiring CPR.
Marker approached St John with the idea earlier this year and St John was happy to help by providing the CPR information.
St John and Marker encourage everyone with an iPhone to download the CPR programme from the Apple iStore. Downloading it is easy and free.
St John Marketing Manager Clare Wilson says, “Sudden cardiac arrest kills many New Zealanders every year. We want to do all we can to save as many of these people as possible and downloading this CPR application may just save some lives.”
“We are indebted to Marker for their work on this project. St John could not provide such cutting edge programmes without support from organisations such as Marker,” says Clare.
Marker is a full service digital agency based in Auckland. They pride themselves on helping clients connect with their target audiences by combining smart creative and leading technology to add real value.
St John believes it is important for as many people as possible to have first aid training and complete regular refresher training. Information about first aid courses and an option to book a first aid course online can be found at www.stjohn.org.nz.
