The Police have completed the investigation into the theft of morphine elixir from the CDHB and are disappointed to announce they have not been able to identify the offender(s).
DSS David Harvey says that there have been discussions with the CDHB on issues regarding access to Controlled Medicine Safes within the various affected wards in the hospital.
"We've been closely working with the CDHB and offered advice regarding the security of controlled medicine within the hospital and I am aware that they have taken measures to address these issues," he says.
