Pay settlement agreed with junior doctors' union
District Health Boards are delighted to have agreed terms of settlement for a new MECA with the New Zealand Resident
Doctors' Association says spokesperson David Meates.
"This is really good news as it clears the way for us to start talking about the training and development needs of our
medical workforce, and most importantly, the long term health needs of New Zealanders.
"The terms of settlement will now go to union members for their ratification and we do not want to discuss details until
they've had a chance to see them first and the ratification process has been completed."
