Rodney Wayne and Kérastase Paris team up to support the Breast Cancer Research Trust
This autumn, Rodney Wayne and Kérastase are offering you the opportunity to look and feel gorgeous while supporting a worthy cause. Rodney Wayne salons will be offering special Ritual for a Cure experiences with proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Trust.
Rodney Wayne, Kérastase and Rodney Wayne salon franchisees are joining forces and donating $3 to the Breast Cancer Research Trust for every Ritual for a Cure experience purchased.
Clients can enjoy the blissful Indulgence Ritual, which is tailored to suit individual needs, using state of the art Kérastase technology. A Rodney Wayne stylist will diagnose each client’s scalp and hair needs then prescribe a personalized Ritual for a Cure. The Ritual involves double cleansing of the hair with a wonderfully relaxing massage, followed by an exclusive in salon treatment which is milked into the hair to treat hair deep down.
The Ritual for a Cure experience is the ultimate in relaxation for a busy woman, and every customer is guaranteed to leave the salon feeling confident and fabulous.
While receiving a treat for your hair and scalp you can also feel good that you’re donating to a worthy cause. So spoil yourself by taking some time out to feel relaxed and rejuvenated; inside and out.
“Our relationship with The Breast Cancer Research Trust is something both Kérastase and the team at Rodney Wayne are very proud of. Breast cancer in this country claims the lives of too many women, and we are committed to helping The Trust fund important research,” says Rodney Wayne.
“Most women undergoing treatment for breast cancer have to face the harrowing prospect of losing their ‘crowning glory’ and so we are asking our clients to not only enjoy the Ritual for a Cure but also spend time thinking of how other women are unable to enjoy such an experience due to their illness.”
Hilary Lewis, Chair of the Breast Cancer Research Trust says the charity is delighted to partner with Rodney Wayne and Kérastase.
“Rodney Wayne and Kérastase understand breast cancer is an issue that is close to the hearts of many of their clients and we are really pleased they are working with us to help find a cure,” says Ms Lewis.
“We are encouraging all women to go and enjoy a Ritual for a Cure - not only is it a great way to relax, it’s supporting breast cancer research. Together with Rodney Wayne and Kérastase we can sponsor more breast cancer research, to lessen the likelihood of women suffering from the disease.”
The exclusive campaign is limited to eight weeks and commences mid-April. The campaign is estimated to raise more than $30,000, and Ms Lewis hopes people right across New Zealand will get involved in the initiative and visit Rodney Wayne for a Ritual for a Cure to support breast cancer research.
The Breast Cancer Research Trust is New Zealand’s only breast cancer research charity. Since its beginning 10 years ago, the Trust has given over $5 million to research projects and operates with a very clear mission to find a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime.
