HBDHB celebrates nursing on International Nurses’ Day
Hawke’s Bay District Health Board is marking International Nurses’ Day on Friday 12 May with a function to celebrate the work of nurses. The event will be held in the DHB’s Education Centre from 11:30am – 2:00pm.
District Health Board staff have been invited to nominate ‘Exemplary Nurses’ who demonstrate excellence in nursing practice; are outstanding role models; provide professional support for their peers; and have made a significant contribution to the development of nursing practice.
Timetable for Friday 12 May:
11:30am – 12:30pm - nurses will be speaking about their work.
12:30pm – 1:00pm – announcement of Exemplary Nurses’ awards
1:00pm – 2:00pm – nurses will be speaking about their work
