DHB Mental Health General Manager resigned
Bay of Plenty District Health Board's Mental Health Services General Manager has resigned.
Jenny Wolf is keeping her options open at present regarding future work, possibly within the mental health sector.
She says that highlights for her during her tenure at the health board have included developing relationships with consumers, in particular the Eastern Bay and Opotiki consumer-run services, seeing growth in mental health services in the area of Maori health, and seeing the success of the health board's career development service for staff and mental health awareness week promotional activities within the Bay of Plenty.
Other highlights for Ms Wolf have included intellectual disability dual diagnosis with mental health, and working with passionate and dedicated staff.
"I have also enjoyed representing Bay of Plenty on national initiatives such as the second National Mental Health Plan, and the National Mental Health Workforce Development Committee," says Ms Wolf.
Acting Chief Executive Graham Dyer says that Ms Wolf will be leaving the organisation having made a significant contribution over the last two years.
Ms Wolf's resignation is effective from 7 April 2006.
