Progress in nurses’ pay talks
The New Zealand Nurses’ Organisation has withdrawn its threat of strike action following two days negotiations with a mediator in Wellington.
Spokesman for the DHBs Jim Green says he’s pleased with progress and talks will resume in two weeks (20 & 21 October).
Mr Green says the mediator will continue to be involved and no further comment will be made.
